Joe Woodley was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from C. E. Byrd High School in 1974. He graduated from Southwestern at Memphis (Rhodes College) with a dual major in Business Administration and Economics in 1978 and from LSU School of Law in 1988. Joe and his wife Rosie are the proud parents of their daughters Lucy and Maria and son Joseph.
