Mike Cooper is a seasoned, respected and successful advocate and counselor for the firm’s clients in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage and commercial litigation. Mike advises clients and litigates in a wide variety of cases involving general casualty, large loss, insurance defense, construction, first-party claims, transportation, environmental and toxic torts. He also handles complex insurance coverage litigation, including issues of multiple-year trigger and allocation, Louisiana direct action claims and others.

Mike has been consistently recognized in U.S. News Best Lawyers in America. He serves on the Board of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.

Mike obtained his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University College of Law in 1995, and a BA in Psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1991.
